DARIUS(CH)
DEATH OF A CHEERLEADER(CH)
WHAT ALEPH SAID(CH)

DARIUS is a Swiss post-metal band known for their powerful and enduring instrumental rock. Their latest album, Murmuration - released under the Swiss independent label Humus Records - stands as an impressive watchtower of orchestral noise-rock, constructed from raw, almost mineral-like slabs of guitar that crash together with raucous intensity. The anxious drumbeats beneath these towering riffs create a sense of unease, as if the ground is trembling, yet the fortress-like structure of their sound remains unshaken. Murmuration was recorded live at the Apiary Studio in Laval by Amaury Sauvé, capturing the raw energy and precision that Darius brings to their performances.

DEATH OF A CHEERLEADER, a Winterthurer band known for their unique blend of post-punk and dark post-rock, has made a significant leap with their second album, "Wendigo." This record represents not just a creative evolution for the band but also a staunch declaration of their commitment to artistic autonomy. The sound of "Wendigo" is a masterclass in melding warmth with natural resonance. The album exudes a lush, immersive quality that contrasts with the often stark and desolate tones of traditional post-rock. This shift towards a more organic sound has been a deliberate choice, reflecting the band's desire to embrace and explore their sonic environment more deeply.

WHAT ALEPH SAID suprise post rock guest from Lausanne. What Aleph Said combines influences from post-rock, progressive rock and stoner. Following the release of their debut album in 2021, the band has recently dropped their second album, titled Aulasy, under the Sixteentimes Music label. 'Aleph' - eternity - is a central concept in the band's imaginary. It compels one to remember what happened in the world in the very distant past - whispers of eternity that have not yet been chronically erased and unearthed. What Aleph Said aims to share such thoughts through introspective, cathartic, emotional atmospheres. Above all, the band offers generous, honest and raw alternative music.

Skemer(BEL)
KARL KAVE & DURIAN(CH)

Very proud to announce this very special act from Belgium... extremly suitable for the November mood at the lake of Constance!
Skemer is the cooperation between singer Kim Peers and guitarist Mathieu Vandekerckhove (Amenra) formed in 2019. They soon discovered that their individual strengths complemented each other perfectly. Two very different worlds collide and lead to minimalist dark wave deconstructions that are equal parts brutal and erotic.
This duality is reflected in the name Skemer, which next to its obvious English meaning of 'intriguer' also stands for ‘dusk’ in Mathieu’s native tongue West-Flemish. The band recorded their debut album just months after meeting and this sense of urgency shines through in their effervescent live performances, where Peers seductive vocals coalesce with Vandekerckhove's austere beats to meld into a transcendent fury.
Debut album Benevolence is released on the 25th of October 2019 on Avant! Records. In 2022 a remix of the song “Sunseeker by Dana Montana was released on He.She.They Records.

NATURE BOYS(USA)
DJ PERSHING T

Rockin DIY punk from Kansas City back at HORST for the third time! "Imagine if DEAD MOON was a buch of punk rockers from the south, then you might be getting close to what NATURE BOYS scrappy & energetic punk rock is all about", schreibt das neue Label DEAD BROKE REKERDS.

Rank-O(FRA)
No Phase(CH)

RANK-O’s music is like if a mad scientist with a PhD in "Wibbly-Wobbly Sound Engineering" and a toddler hopped up on candy collaborated on a weirdly genius mixtape. Somewhere in their DNA, you can trace this obsession with complex musical structures - probably passed down by the avant-garde wizards of the '60s through '90s. But right next to that, they've got a genuine soft spot for pop songs, the kind that stick in your head like gum on your shoe. Some of their tunes are sneaky, some are stripped down to the bones, but all are catchy enough to make you hum in your sleep.
It’s this sweet mix of musical brain teasers and playful, childlike fun that gives their sound that special “what is this sorcery?” vibe - like peeling back the layers of a mille -feuille (that’s a fancy cake!) where each bite surprises you, all while swimming in a pool of eternal youth.
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
Part of the party are NO PHASE, a trio formed 2021 somewhere between a highway and a bus depot near Bern, crafting a sound that drifts between indie rock, shoegaze, post-punk, and pop, reminiscent of bands like Packs, DIIV, or Deeper. With a blend of airy, sometimes dark and introspective passages, they aim to create a unique atmosphere: like giant clouds dancing on wool - sometimes stormy, sometimes breaking for the sun.
